73 degrees and climbing here. Its clear skies with a slight breeze. The late night decision was to make it to Savanah but not go to the historic district with the trailer. :) So we found a clean, comfy, pet - friendly, affordable Best Western with Georgia smiley staff (even @ 1am) right off 95. This area has a multitude of hotel and restaurant choices. The clientele is vacationers and business travelers. Good choice all the way around.
With coffee and an egg white scramble under our belts (I did sneak a bite of Russell Wayne Sweet tooth Meeker's butter pecan pancakes) , we are headed to Amelia Island. We have 2 hours to go and will be glad to have the trailer unpacked and parked for the weekend at the marina.
