We arrived safe and sound om Amelia Island today. Today was a day of discovery, getting the lay of the land and unpacking. The people at the marina were awesome and the trailer is safe and sound. They gave us a map of the area and recommendations on restaurants.
The downtown historic district of Amrlia Island reminds me of Carmel California. So quaint and beautiful! grabbed a quick lunch at the Salty Pelican. Really good food. The condo we rented is awesome. I didnt realize this when i rented ot but its right on the beach.
We ended the evening having dinner with the Florida Meekers!! We ate at q quaint wood-fire pizza restaurant. It was delicious! The caprese rocked. The mozzarella was do fresh. We plan to see them again.
Signing off now. Very early morning tomorrow. Porsche driving experience, auto cross, test drives, and them to will call to get concourse tickets. Cars are rolling in. I can only imagine what we will see tomorrow!
